For years I carried a small prayer by St Teresa in my wallet. It began something like "Let nothing disturb you, or fill you with fear... God's always near..." I got it from a lady at my Catholic church as a teen.
I always loved St Teresa. She was always "real" to me. I especially loved the quote, "God save us from gloomy saints!" I pulled it out of her autobiography and live by it.
