Christmas vs The Feast of the Nativity According to the Flesh of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ

I am not fond of "Christmas". I much prefer "The Feast of the Nativity According to the Flesh of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ".

Christmas sucks the life out of me.

The Feast of the Nativity According to the Flesh of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ gives me life, breath and hope.

Christmas is exhausting physically, emotionally, mentally and financially.

The Feast of the Nativity According to the Flesh of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ renews and sustains my life through His and supplies all of my needs so that I do not need to worry.

Christmas has sparkle and dazzle that gets tossed into the trash or is packed into boxes in the attic when it is over.

The Feast of the Nativity According to the Flesh of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ lives on.

Christmas causes more endless, pointless work that needs doing over and over and over again.

The Feast of the Nativity According to the Flesh of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ is the evidence of the Promise of the Work He began before the foundation of the earth and completed at the Cross.

Oh Lord, help me to remember to carry your Feast with me, to remember that You came in the flesh according to Your will so that this lost sheep might be found and carried back to the fold on Your shoulders. I thank you for this gift and ask Your help to become worthy of it. Have mercy on me, a sinner.
