"The Shack"

I was asked recently if I had read the new book everyone is talking about in the evangelical/emergent world titled The Shack. I do not plan on reading the book, but I recently stumbled upon a review of the The Shack by Orthodox priest Fr. Lawrence Farley. If you have not heard about this book then I am sure that it will not be long before you will.

Mind in the Heart by Joseph Patterson

I haven't read this and never really planned to. I got over my brief flirtation with the Emergent version of Christianity after its tenets were cited as a reason to break up a couple of marriages. Not to mention my issues with the "doctrine" many major E-Church authors espouse (Brian McLaren and Rob Bell come to mind).
